The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

So much has been happening lately that I haven't had much time to spend here at VR, which is a shame, because this is one of my favorite places. My massage therapy practice is picking up and I have more repeat clients than not, so thats a good thing. I am studying new techniques that I am finding quite interesting and useful in easing cronic pain in some of my clients. I recently had an older Mayan woman as a client. She told me that she had come from a family of healers, and unfortunately she wasn't allowed to develope her gift as her mother and grandmother had, since she moved to the US as a child and that her family felt it wasn't 'our way'. She told me that I was easily on par with them, if not more so. Kind words, but I believe that everyone has the ability to heal. Most folks just don't believe they can. And those issues need to be worked through as well.

I have been staying away from working with any of my friends in the media. I need some time to recharge. I have ideas for new shows and specials, but I need some time away from that. I need to focus on what I am doing and become the best therapist I can. I'm sure that in a couple of weeks I will get the video bug again and start with a few small projects I have knocking around. Looking through my records I have produced over 5,000 hours of live news programs alone over the last 5 years. That's in addition to the 330 hours of my own show and 2300 hours of other programs I have produced.

No wonder I'm ready for a break from that.

It's tough though. It really is. I've had 2 offers this week from local media groups to come do projects with them.. TV is like a drug. I don't think you can ever really shake the addiction that it causes, and when someone offers you a hit, that temptation is really hard to refuse.

I have the same feelings about hunting humans. After doing that for so long, the temptation to 'just catch one more' is very strong. I read and hear about some of the local cases and I want to help. I know that I can assist, but that's not my job anymore, and my wife really would rather I didn't do it anymore. So I don't... but sometimes that feeling is so strong it becomes hard to resist.

That voice in the back of my head always whispering, 'Just one more..'

I had no desire to write, create chainmaille, draw, or any of the creative things I do to amuse myself. This has been going on over the last few weeks. Recently I've been feeling more creative, so I expect that I will have new stories written soon. Hang tight, true believers.

I would also recommend a bit of work on your profile. Look at the members of the different houses and covens before being to rash about picking one. Not that you really have a choice. The house masters and a few of their assistants have the power to induct you. You have no say in the matter really.. Although there are exceptions. On the main page of the houses/covens some will list entry requirements. Reading the FAQ over to the left under 'Societies' will answer many of your questions.

Question: Is there somthing wrong with loving the vampire lestat? I do have to say I hate all of the movies but Anne Rce is a goddess to me. I relate to her vamps to be honest. I see my self in some of them. Although is is not 100% correct about how vampires really are. I can't speak for others except for myself.

This is the code. place it before the text you wish to change color. Remove the spaces after & before the brackets. Change the 6 digit code to change the color.
